How to Play Rocket Goal

Your job is simple: drive, jump, and boost your car into the ball before the other team does. The challenge is that the ball bounces with real physics, so timing your jump and boost matters more than raw speed.

Cars

Everyone starts in the Vortex, a balanced starter car with no particular strength or weakness, good for learning boost timing before committing to a style. Seven more cars unlock as you keep playing: Overdrive, Crimson, Specter, Frostbite, Pulsewave, Blaze, and Nitron. Each car handles a little differently in the air, so if aerial plays are not working with one, it is worth trying another before assuming the problem is your timing.

Game Modes

Practice Mode is solo, with guide lines on the field, useful for drilling boost-and-hit timing before playing against people. Casual Multiplayer puts you in quick matches against random players with lower stakes. Ranked Matches use the same rules, but your result affects a leaderboard, so expect sharper opponents.

New players tend to boost in a straight line at the ball and miss. A more reliable pattern is to approach at an angle, time the jump just before contact, and let the car's momentum, not just the boost, carry the ball toward goal. It takes a few rounds to feel natural, but it is the single biggest improvement you can make early on.
